ABBOTT: Good Subject. Terrible Times. It's 9%.
COSTELLO: That many people are out of work?
ABBOTT: No, that's 16%.
COSTELLO: You just said 9%.

COSTELLO: Right 9% out of work.
ABBOTT: No, that's 16%.
COSTELLO: Okay, so it's 16% unemployed.
ABBOTT: No, that's 9%...
COSTELLO: WAIT A MINUTE. Is it 9% or 16%?
ABBOTT: 9% are unemployed. 16% are out of work.
COSTELLO: IF you are out of work you are unemployed.
ABBOTT: No, you can't count the "Out of Work" as the unemployed. You have to look for work to be unemployed.
COSTELLO: BUT THEY ARE OUT OF WORK!!!
ABBOTT: No, you miss my point.
COSTELLO: What point?
ABBOTT: Someone who doesn't look for work, can't be counted with those who look for work. It wouldn't be fair.
COSTELLO: To who?
ABBOTT: The unemployed.
COSTELLO: But they are ALL out of work.
ABBOTT: No, the unemployed are actively looking for work...Those who are out of work stopped looking. They gave up. And, if you give up, you are no longer in the ranks of the unemployed.
COSTELLO: So if you're off the unemployment rolls, then that would count as less unemployment?
ABBOTT: Unemployment would go down. Absolutely!
COSTELLO: The unemployment just goes down because you don't look for work?
ABBOTT: Absolutely it goes down. That's how you get to 9%. Otherwise it would be 16%. You don't want to read about 16% unemployment do ya?
COSTELLO: That would be frightening.
ABBOTT: Absolutely.
COSTELLO: Wait, I got a question for you. That means they're two ways to bring down the unemployment number?
ABBOTT: Two ways is correct.
COSTELLO: Unemployment can go down if someone gets a job?
ABBOTT: Correct.
COSTELLO: And unemployment can also go down if you stop looking for a job?
ABBOTT: Bingo.
COSTELLO: So there are two ways to bring unemployment down, and the easier of the two is to just stop looking for work.

Coincidence or Providence...A Presentation of Evidence

I believe that some in our generation are being offered a unique opportunity to witness the movement of our Sovereign Lord over our nation. As a Christian, I believe the true actors in this unfolding drama are God versus Satan. Good versus evil. Notwithstanding our knowledge that GOD is already victorious, to be a witness to this great battle is an absolute blessing. It is my prayer that those reading this article are blessed by God with eyes to see and ears to hear an unfolding drama of epic proportions.

As a Watchman on the Wall, I submit there has been much evidence of God's Hand on our nation. Before I get started, a little history lesson is in order referencing George Washington, the founding of our nation, the World Trade Center (9/11), and GOD.

George Washington was a profound Christian, prayer warrior, and military commander who required his soldiers to attend Sunday worship, pray daily, abstain from sin, and abstain from profanity, cursing, gambling, drunkenness, adultery, etc. who led this nation, by example and with Godly principles to independence.
Washington was a prolific writer. It is said that he wrote on the Theology of God's Sovereignty more than any theologian of the Reformation, more than the Catholic Church writers in 2000 years and more than all who wrote Holy Scriptures COMBINED.
The Washington Monument was built in honor of George Washington.
George Washington has a unique connection to the property known as The World Trade Center and the World Trade Center has a unique connection to our history as a nation. Four blocks from the WTC site is located the historic Federal Hall. In 1789 the first President of the United States, George Washington, was inaugurated; the first United States Congress and the Supreme Court of the United States each assembled for the first time, and the United States Bill of Rights was drafted, all at Federal Hall on Wall Street. New York was the last capital of the U.S. under the Articles of Confederation and the first capital under the Constitution of the United States.
A few yards from where WTC Building 5 collapsed sits St. Paul's Church, the site of George Washington's first act as president. It was to this church that Washington led the first Congress for worship after his inauguration. This building survived the 9/11 attack on the WTC.
It was at the corner of Wall and Broad Streets in NYC that George Washington knelt down to dedicate the newborn United States to God. His prayer is recorded as follows:
"Almighty God; We make our earnest prayer that Thou wilt keep the United
States in Thy holy protection; that Thou wilt incline the hearts of the
citizens to cultivate a spirit of subordination and obedience to government;
and entertain a brotherly affection and love for one another and for their
fellow citizens of the United states at large." "And finally that Thou wilt
most graciously be pleased to dispose us all to do justice, to love mercy,
and to demean ourselves with that charity, humility, and pacific temper of
mind which were the characteristics of the Divine Author of our blessed
religion, and without a humble imitation of whose example in these things we
can never hope to be a happy nation. Grant our supplication, we beseech
Thee, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen."

During his inauguration as our first president, George Washington gave a prophetic warning (http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/american_originals/inaugtxt.html) at Federal Hall in New York City , 700 yards from the future WTC. He declared that America's prosperity and protection were dependent upon its adherence to the purposes and will of God with the following words:

“...Since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven, can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right, which Heaven itself has ordained...”

His inaugural speech also referenced “the other foundation” of our national policy:

“In these honorable qualifications, I behold the surest pledges, that as on one side, no local prejudices, or attachments; no seperate views, nor party animosities, will misdirect the comprehensive and equal eye which ought to watch over this great assemblage of communities and interests: so, on another, that the foundations of our National policy will be laid in the pure and immutable principles of private morality; and the pre-eminence of a free Government, be exemplified by all the attributes which can win the affections of its Citizens, and command the respect of the world.”

Even as his first act as president was to gather with the First Congress at St. Paul's Chapel, religious activities had been planned to precede the inauguration, with the people of New York City being called to a time of prayer. The papers in the Capital City reported on that scheduled activity:

“[O]n the morning of the day on which our illustrious President will be invested with his office, the bells will ring at nine o’clock, when the people may go up to the house of God and in a solemn manner commit the new government, with its important train of consequences, to the holy protection and blessing of the Most high. History lesson aside, what other evidence have I found that God's hand is upon this nation and a great battle of the principalities is taking place right before our very eyes?

Starting with Scripture, Isiah chapter 9 describes God's judgment on Israel. A messianic rabbi, Johathan Cahn “has found striking parallels between the fall of ancient Israel and what he suggests are God's early judgments of America.” He has a compelling argument that events occurring after the 9/11 World Trade Center attack appears to reenact the fall of ancient Israel. (Part 2) The Rabbi's sermon is a must hear and I highly recommend finding the 50 minutes needed to hear it. Rabbi Cahn has recently written a new book concerning this subject called "The Harbinger."

Of particular note, Rabbi Cahn reminds us that of all the buildings on Ground Zero...only one survived unscathed. That building was St. Paul's Chapel.

As if Rabbi Cahns argument is not enough, I found what I believe to be further evidence of God's hand particularly in the aftermath of the earthquake that rocked DC on August 23, 2011. I have to admit that my first thoughts upon hearing of the DC earthquake was entirely subjective. They were along the line of "I wonder if Obama felt THAT." In the aftermath, Federal authorities closed a number of government buildings pending further damage inspections. Among them were the White House (temporarily), buildings of the departments of agriculture, homeland security and interior. The Labor Department and Health and Human Services buildings were initially closed but later reopened. D.C. public schools were closed, as were schools in several districts in Virginia and Maryland.

Officials also shut the Washington Monument, the Washington National Cathedral and the Smithsonian Institution Building, known as the castle, because of earthquake damage.

When the media announced damage to the Washington Monument and our National Cathedral, something clicked in my mind as history and my sense of intrigue collided.

Is it coincidence that George Washington has a unique connection to the property known as The World Trade Center and the World Trade Center has a unique connection to our history as a nation and that GOD is central to this connection. Is it coincidence that the US has concertedly departed from God and Christian principles, up to and including the exclusion of God from our schools, courthouses, and culture and thus has lost that protection for which George Washington prayed. Is it symbolic that Ground Zero, where we were attacked, is the very place where our Nation was born and dedicated?

The Washington Monument on the National Mall is 555 feet high and on the top where it can only be seen from the air is the phrase "Praise be to God". It is interesting the middle verses of the Bible are the 1555 1st and 1555 2nd both exclaiming -- Psa 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name. .

Is it coincidence that the height of the Washington Monument seems to correspond to the center verses of the Bible? Is it coincidence the nature/historic significance of the person for whom the monument was built to honor and that GOD is central to this connection?

Moving on to current events, a specific action was taken by the National Park Service in 2007 in regards to the Washington Monument. From a 2007 World Net Daily article comes the following: (http://www.wnd.com/2007/10/44214/)

“The National Park Service has banished God from a key display of America’s Christian heritage in Washington. The reference is an engraving of “LAUS DEO,” which is Latin for “Praise be to God,” and is on the east side of the 100-ounce aluminum cap of the Washington Monument. Since the actual inscription on the cap, which on the other three sides provides other information, is unviewable atop the 555-foot stone column, the National Park Service has created a replica, which is on display inside the white-colored obelisk of marble, granite and sandstone. In 2007 the cap replica was rearranged-has been straightened and moved close to the wall- so that visitors are unable to see the inscription.”

Not only was the exhibit re-arranged, according to witnesses, “There was no description of ‘Laus Deo’ on the front side of the replica stand. There was also no description of ‘Laus Deo’ on the large information display on the wall in back of the replica....no way for any visitor to ever know that the words, ‘Laus Deo,’ (‘Praise be to God’), were inscribed on the original cap!”

Also reported was a change in the exhibit description. It was edited to remove God. The 2000 description read:

APEX OF THE MONUMENT Reproduction The builders searched for an appropriate metal for the apex that would not tarnish and would act as a lightning rod. They chose one of the rarest metals of the time, aluminum. The casting was inscribed with the phrase, Laus Deo, (Praise be to God).

The last sentence was edited out for the 2007 display which includes only:

Is it coincidence that of all the buildings in Washington DC, this particular monument was one of the three historic buildings damaged and closed for repairs after the Earthquake of 2012? Is there any coincidence to the earthquake damage of the monument and the National Park's service exclusion of GOD from public display?

Also damaged during the earthquake was our National Cathedral. Dedicated as America's National House of Prayer, the National Cathedral has always been symbol of America's power and our Christian origins. After the quake, a spokesman for the National Cathedral said three of the four pinnacles on the central tower fell off and the central tower appeared to be leaning. On the top of these pinnacles were crosses.

Does the notion of three pinnacles having fallen from the top of this church have any meaning? (Calvary for instance) Is this “damage” coincidental? Let's look at some additional current events.

Prior to the earthquake, on Sunday January 26, 2011, an interfaith event took place at the National Cathedral, organized by the Interfaith Alliance and Human Rights First organization. Lead by several religious leaders from the DC area, including an Imam, a Rabbi, and a Priest, both the Torah and Quran were read from the pulpit. On this day, the Bible was pushed aside for “inclusive” religious purposes. Similar services also took place in more than 70 other churches, in 32 different states and D.C.

Also subsequent to the August 23^rd earthquake, on Wednesday September 7, 2011 The National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., hosted “A Call to Compassion” interfaith prayer vigil on Sept. 11 — however not a single protestant or evangelical was invited to participate.

Who was invited? A Roman Catholic bishop, a Jewish rabbi, Buddhist nun, a Hindu priest, the president of the Islamic Society of North America and a Muslim musician.

“Notably excluded are 16.6 million Southern Baptists, America’s largest protestant denomination. Completely left off the program was anybody represented by the National Association of Evangelicals: No Presbyterians, Methodists, Lutherans, Congregationalists, Wesleyans or Mennonites. Nobody from the Church of Christ or the Assemblies of God.”

Interestingly, their plans were abruptly changed (the hand of God?) on 7 September when a 500-ton crane removing rubble from the earthquake damaged cathedral fell over damaging three cars and two buildings. After this freak accident, the ceremony was moved to Washington’s Kennedy Center.

The National Cathedral is under the control of the Episcopal church. Their leadership is well known as supportive of Planned Parenthood and is featured among the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice’s list of pro-choice church bodies.

The National Cathedral has long been a symbol of our great nation. It has exemplified those well known words in the Pledge of Allegiance “one nation under God.” Now, there's cracks in it...the result of a 5.9 quake, the largest on the east coast since WWII. Is this coincidence or providential evidence of God's movement throughout our land.

Before I move on, Does anyone recall the news that the archbishop of Canterbury (New Zealand) was near (within 100 yards) the One World Trade Center on 9/11 and he barely escaped with his life? Does the name Christchurch ring a bell? Christchurch is a city (not a church) in the Canterbury province of New Zealand, For a city, it has a very unique name. The city was hit by a totally unexpected earthquake over 100 km from the nearest known major fault. The quake's damage and aftershocks literally destroyed billions of dollars worth of property, homes, heritage buildings and infrastructure throughout the region and although there was no loss of life, it was New Zealand's worst natural disaster to date. Again, is it mere coincidence the archbishop of Canterbury, religious leader in Christchurch, was near the One World Trade Center on 9-11 and he barely escaped with his life.

Okay, back to my original discourse.

Interestingly enough, not only was the White house, the Washington Monument, and the National Cathedral rocked by the earthquake, so was George Washington's home place Mount Vernon. Even as a 5.9 earthquake that sent tremors from Virginia to New York City shook Mount Vernon on that fateful Tuesday, George Washington’s mansion stood sturdy as a rock. The Mansion and other buildings throughout the estate shook and creaked, but the only damage noted by by a team of collection specialists and historians was a nickle-sized piece of green plaster that fell from the large dining room ceiling. Well. Just wow. Is this coincidence or evidence of the hand of God? I can't help but recall the words “'On Christ the solid Rock I stand, All other ground is sinking sand.”

My final point of evidence occurred the day after the earthquake. On August 24, 2011, an aftershock rocked St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oldtown-Alexandria Virginia. Strangely enough, a brick (Isaiah 9:10 “The bricks have fallen”) fell through the stained glass skylight over the main altar, damaging it and the crucifix adorning the sanctuary. The crucifix was not knocked from above the alter but the brick sheared off Christ’s right outstretched arm.

What has Old St. Mary's Church have to do with George Washington, God's hand on our nation, and my search for evidence. Let's look at the history of Old St. Mary's. On July 4, 1779, the church was the site of the first public religious commemoration of the Declaration of Independence. The Continental Congress met here officially four times from 1777 to 1781. With a cemetery dating back to 1759, St. Mary's became the first Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Diocese of Philadelphia (1810-38).

George Washington worshiped here on at least two occasions. At the webpage http://www.saintmaryparish.net/about.htm, it states:

“St. Mary’s was established in 1795, and is the oldest Catholic parish in the Commonwealth of Virginia. To fund the church, Colonel John Fitzgerald, friend of George Washington and an early mayor of Alexandria, took up a collection. According to local tradition, Washington himself made the first donation. A chapel was built at the south end of the city, on land still used today as St. Mary’s Cemetery.”

Is it coincidence that once again, the August 23 earthquake damaged a historic site with historic connections to GOD, George Washington, and Congress. Is it coincidence that the right arm of Jesus was sheared off by the fallen brick? Is this a warning to America? Does not coincidence after coincidence intertwined with more coincidence indicate evidence of God's hand on our country?

I have one concluding thought. In Amos 6-8 are the verses "When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it? 7 Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. 8 The lion has roared—who will not fear? The Sovereign LORD has spoken—who can but prophesy?"

The Bible teaches that God is not only sovereign in controlling all things at all times, but is actually programming and guiding events in accordance with His eternal purposes. Ephesians 1:11 says that "He works all things after the counsel of His will." (See also Psalm 33:11 and Isaiah 43:13.) Nothing happens by pure chance or accident, and what appears to be merely fortunate or unfortunate circumstance is really the outworking of God's plans. On the other hand, coincidence is defined as “an event that might have been arranged although it was really accidental.”

In light of the events and history outlined and referenced in this paper...

Update: It is a little known fact that George Washington converted from the Episcopal church (National Cathedra/St. Paul'sl is Episcopal) to Catholicism (St. Mary's) on his deathbed. Not to forget Old St. Mary's Catholic Church has national significance to our early history and boasts Washington as a famous visitor to their church as well as a financial contributor. As it is my premise that we are witnessing a great battle of the principalities and that God is revealing himself to our generation in overt ways, an interesting current Catholic event deserves mention. This event seems to be a continuation of the thread that connects the founding of our nation, our first President and founding father, God's churches (National Cathedral, St. Paul's, St. Mary's), and the decline of moral Christian foundation in both our society, in our political leadership, and a government that increasingly rejects God. This event is a direct result of the election of Obama as President and his passage of ObamaCare with the assistance of a rogue Congress. Not only where they intent on taking over the Healthcare Industry against the wishes of the American people, they were determined to publicly finance and promote eugenics through this proported healthcare program . A new ObamaCare regulation passed January 20, 2011 mandates that all health-care plans in the United States cover sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives, including those that cause abortions. Catholic hospitals, universities and charitable institutions would not be exempt from the regulation, nor would Catholic individuals, business owners, or insurers. Since this is antithetical to Catholicism, this regulation would force Catholics to act against the teachings of their faith and against their consciences. For the first time, the Catholic Church is rising against this assault on God and human life. Archbishop Timothy Broglio, who leads the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Military Services, has taken a stand from Catholic pulpits around the world stating "We cannot-we will not-comply with this unjust law." Obama appointee, the Army's Office of the Chief of Chaplains bit back and attempted to silence Catholic Army chaplains from protesting ObamaCare regulations during Mass...an effort rejected and resisted by Archbishop Broglio. With more than 50% of Catholics voting for Obama in 2008 is this evidence they are humbling themselves to God's sovereignty as they rise in defiance of an ungodly government policy. Is this common thread between our past and our present coincidence--or providence?

"And an orator said, "Speak to us of Freedom."

Even as slaves humble themselves before a tyrant and praise him though he slays them.

Wow. The concept that the pursuit of freedom can enslave us is thought provoking. Who will be our master? Or will we live as slaves of Christ, serving him in all things, and discovering what it means to live in the freedom of his grace.

Elena Kagan tied to Obama's birth certificate

With today's expected vote on Kagan...this tidbit of news is interesting. Go to article to see court documents proving Kagan's tie to Ozero's citizenship cover up. Ozero owes Kagan BIG TIME. Not to mention that eventually this eligibility issue will reach the Supreme Court and he MUST stack the deck in his favor. He is scared...as he should be...treason won't look good on his resume.

Elena Kagan tied to Obama's birth certificate:

"Just when you thought there couldn't be any more players in the ongoing soap opera over the hunt for President Obama's original birth certificate and his constitutional eligibility for office, there comes yet another name: Elena Kagan.

Yes, the same Elena Kagan nominated by the commander in chief to be the next justice on the U.S. Supreme Court has actually been playing a role for some time in the dispute over whether Obama is legally qualified to be in the White House.

Here's the connection. Kagan served as solicitor general of the United States from March 2009 until May of this year.

In that role, she legally represented the U.S. government in numerous cases coming before the Supreme Court.

A simple search of the high court's own website reveals Kagan's name coming up at least nine times on dockets involving Obama eligibility issues."

The party said in a resolution on Monday that the South Carolina senator has voted for a bank bailout program that will increase the national debt, in favor of two of Obama's liberal U.S. Supreme Court nominees and has promoted amnesty for illegal immigrants.

It also says Graham has 'repeatedly demonstrated contempt and arrogance' to GOP members who support party beliefs.

The party says Graham will no longer be invited to attend Greenville GOP meetings and events.

Kevin Bishop, a spokesman for Graham, issued a statement early Wednesday that said Graham believes it is 'time for Republicans to pull together.'"

GOP committees in Lexington and Charleston counties had previously censured Graham.

Obviously to the Constitutional Patriot this bill is illegal per the 13th Amendment, Amendment XIII,
Section 1.

Demint Legislation Introduced on Death Tax

Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) - a longtime death tax repeal ally and signer of AFBI's "Death Tax Repeal Pledge" - has just introduced permanent repeal legislation.

Yesterday afternoon Senator DeMint introduced an amendment to the small business bill to make death tax repeal permanent. We understand that this legislation could come up for a vote, and soon.

This is a huge development.

With Senator DeMint's legislation, we will be able to force all 100 members of the U.S. Senate to go on the record for or against permanent death tax repeal. Senators who vote no but claim to support small business and job creation will have a lot of explaining to do this November.

Perhaps even more important, this legislation will provide the contrast to Senator Bernie Sanders' (D-VT) proposal for a 65% death tax.

This should be interesting.

Given the current observations from the test, including the detected seep a distance from the well and undetermined anomalies at the well head, monitoring of the seabed is of paramount importance during the test period. Being reported on MSNBC is the following:

NEW ORLEANS — Scientists are concerned about a seep near BP's busted oil well, a federal official said Sunday.

Methane might be escaping through cracks in the seafloor, the source said, and that could be a sign of leaks in the well that's been capped off for three days as part of a test of its integrity.

The official spoke on condition of anonymity because an announcement about the next steps had not been made yet. Testing had been extended until 4 p.m. ET Sunday, but that came and went without any word on whether it would continue even longer.

The official is familiar with the spill oversight, but would not clarify what is seeping near the well. The official says BP is not complying with the government's demand for more monitoring.

I reported a couple of weeks ago on this movement to eliminate the electoral college. Main Stream Media will not report it.

If this effort is successful, it will become MOB rule in America. This change goes against the ideas of Madison and our founding fathers. My earlier blog on this subject can be found here. In the comment section is the following statement: "In our own time, we can see other advantages of the Electoral College. Under direct popular election of the president, the Democratic candidate would probably seek large majorities in major metropolitan areas on both coasts, ignoring the smaller states in between. The alienation of "Middle America" would increase."

Both the House and Senate have approved the National Popular Vote bill. Final enactment votes are needed in both chambers, however, before the bill goes to the governor's desk, the Globe reported last week.

Governor Deval Patrick's press office didn't immediately return a message this morning seeking comment on whether he would sign the bill, if it makes its way to his desk.
Under the proposed law, all 12 of the state's electoral votes would be awarded to the candidate who receives the most votes nationally.

Supporters are waging a state-by-state campaign to try to get such bills enacted. The video shows Sherrod speaking of racial considerations being a factor for how much help she would give.

'The first time I was faced with having to help a white farmer save his farm, he took a long time talking but he was trying to show me he was superior to me. I know what he was doing, but he had come to me for help. What he didn't know while he was taking all that time trying to show me he was superior to me was, I was trying to decide just how much help I was going to give him,' Sherrod said.

'I was struggling with the fact that so many black people had lost their farmland, and here I was faced with having to help a white person save their land. 'So that when he, I assumed the Department of Agriculture had sent him to me, either that or the Georgia Department of Agriculture, and he needed to go back and report that I did try to help him.'

In the video, Sherrod also spoke of referring the white farmer to a white lawyer, thinking the latter would be more sympathetic because of race. 'So I took him to a white lawyer that had attended some of training that we had provided because Chapter 12 bankruptcy had just been enacted for the family farm. So I figured if I take him to one of them, that his own kind would take care of him.'

The organization, calling itself Free Press, claims media companies are engaging in 'hate speech' because a disproportionate number of radio and cable-news networks are owned by non-minorities."The petition contends "traditional media" have "largely failed" to "provide the accurate information needed for an informed democracy."

"These failures often damage communities of color at disproportionate rates," the petition states.

The paper singles out talk radio as "particularly problematic."

"Hate has seemingly emerged as a profit-model for many radio programs syndicated throughout the country, because only a few companies own the majority of the radio stations nationally."

The paper claims a disproportionate number of media companies are owned by non-minorities, causing "hate speech" to fester.

God bless this teacher and students for praying outside the Supreme Court. The Lord above knows we certainly need it! They were brave and courageous.

"The Washington Post ombudsman is blasting his paper’s coverage of the voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party, saying The Post remained 'virtually silent' as the story developed in recent weeks.

The newspaper carried a full-length news article about the case on Thursday – months after it had been covered thoroughly by Fox News and other elements of the conservative media. Ombudsman Andrew Alexander wrote that readers have been contacting him 'for months' wondering what was taking so long for The Post to show interest in the controversy.

'The Post didn't cover it. Indeed, until Thursday's story, The Post had written no news stories about the controversy this year,' Alexander wrote. 'That's prompted many readers to accuse The Post of a double standard.'

Alexander wrote that while the newspaper should not feel obligated to cover stories 'simply because of blogosphere chatter,' the Black Panther story merits attention.

'Coverage is justified because it's a controversy that screams for clarity that The Post should provide,' Alexander wrote."

I don't know about you guys, but the attitude taken by The Washington Post is one of most arrogant I have ever witnessed. Their unmasked disdain of online news/blogs is nothing less than reckless and their lack of journalistic discernment has had a profound negative economic impact on their business model profitability. Reporting on the Panther case now is like...well...cutting off their nose in spite of their face. Why they want to bring attention to their serious breach of journalistic responsibility is beyond me.

Don't be confused Alexander...the NEWS of the Black Panthers has already been covered in a timely and professional manner by all of us in the "blogosphere". We do not need your "clarity" on the subject as your clarity was clearly impaired when you chose to ignore one of the biggest stories of the year.

This story is not about the Black Panthers...it is about the Washington Post reporting on their own stupidity... many days late and their dollars short.

I think Glover's resignation had to happen - he was absolutely neutered at that 'press conference'. So for the sake of the agency, he had to step down.

However, that shouldn't be the end of the investigation of his rise through the ranks at the pleasure of (pun intended) Gov Bev.

It's just a rumor but,

just about anyone paying attention down east in the early 90s seems to know that back in her Craven County days then Sen Bev Perdue had a little car accident with damages exceeding $500 and from which she left the scene. (The WRAL video shows her with a deer in the headlights interview saying she can't remember but she may have had a glass of wine before the accident at a party from which she was returning home.)

And they seem to know that Sen Bev and Trooper Glover had a 'close and personal relationship.'

And they seem to know that any legal accountability for Bev leaving the scene of this accident and any question of blood alcohol level just somehow went away.

And they seem to know that not long thereafter (1995) he received his promotion to First Sergeant.

Wonder how many Troopers privy to her ethics lecture seem to know?

I guess all have heard that Col. Randy Glover resigned from the Highway Patrol on Friday. His resignation comes after a Press Conference in which he and Gov. Bev Perdue were questioned on their "relationship."

The word on the streets is that a big story is breaking Sunday or Monday in the News & Observer concerning the Bev and "her boy."

I found several comments in the News and Observer that were quite interesting. Not mine...but follow link to see for your self...there seems to be some "secrets" out there.

"Yesterday, the Senate voted 60 to 39 to take over the nation's financial system. The bill now proceeds to Barack Obama, who will sign it, and it shall be law. The explosion of foreclosures is largely owed because of the government-mandated, irresponsible lending that took place as a direct result. Alas, the bill, which will be the law of the land, addresses none of these root causes of the crisis, and provides no respite from the government distortions of the housing market. It does not bring an end to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the taxpayer tab which is up to $145 billion. Nor does it audit the Fed. And it fails to rein in HUD's "affordable housing goals" and does not repeal the Community Reinvestment Act.

So, the insanity will continue, all but guaranteeing that there will be another crisis. The only difference is that next time insolvent firms won't have to go through the lengthy debates in Congress to get their bailouts. Instead, unelected bureaucrats will give them out as a matter of law, and tax the citizenry to pay for it — by decree.

The people will have no means to remove these dictators from power, who will act with limitless discretion, and the madness will never end. There will be no escape.

Looking For Solutions in All the Wrong Places

How easy it is to become discouraged in this day and time. As we consider all the predictions of escalating national debt, high unemployment, increasing taxation, and loss of individual freedom, many of our hearts succumb to a desperation for which we can find no solution.

If we continue to look to ourselves...to mankind...our depraved roller coaster ride of fear will only get worse. We, as Christian Conservative Americans, must look beyond ourselves for the answer.

As I read Jeremiah 12 this morning, I was reminded by Jeremiah of today's pleas and protestations from God's remnant in our country. That there is a remnant here is no question, whether we number two or two hundred million makes no difference. God's word applies to both the remnant and the wicked.

Jeremiah complained to the Lord about the age old question. “Why does the way of the wicked prosper?” Do not we ask this same question every day? As the United States faces an overwhelming and constant barrage of one manufactured crisis to another, an onslaught of media propagandizing one evil agenda to another, have we not become exhausted with the effort to rationalize what we perceive as an ever degrading prognosis of our future? Consider Jeremiah's complaint

“How long will the land lie parched and the grass in every field be withered. Because those who live in it are wicked, the animals and birds have perished. Moreover, the people are saying, 'He will not see what happens to us.'”(Jer. 12:4)

Do we not make the same complaint? Is it a Godly pursuit to assume God is not seeing “what happens to us.” NO! Is it a Godly pursuit to focus on tomorrow's anticipated future tyranny? Well...let's discuss this.

There is no doubt that God responded to Jeremiah and expressed great anger towards his children. God said

“They will sow wheat but reap thorns; they will wear themselves out but gain nothing. So bear the shame of your harvest because of the Lord's fierce anger.”(Jer. 12:13)

See...Israel had once again turned away from God. God said to himself, of his people, “Do not trust them, though they speak well of you.”(Jer. 12:6) Are we in America feeling “worn out” as we seek to restore our nation yet appear to gain nothing from our efforts? Are we truly being obedient to God or are we simply giving him lip service as did the people of Israel.

In 2010, we find ourselves in the same situation as was Jeremiah's beloved Israel. Luckily for Jeremiah, God explained his anger to him. For my dear reader, open your heart that God also is revealing to us, through scripture, the error of our ways and the consequence of our lack of obedience to our Father in Heaven.

“There are times when sin brings it's own bitter reward. A time comes when God must dispense justice. As long as the people remained unrepentant and continued in their sin, neither their prayers nor Jeremiah's would prevent God's judgment.” (footnote pg 1310)

This concept not only applied to Israel during Jeremiah's day but applies to us in the present.

Did God respond to Jeremiah's request to butcher...drag away for slaughter...his oppressors? He did, but not in the way Jeremiah anticipated. As the footnotes state, rather than remove Jeremiah's oppressors, “God's reply in effect was, “If you think this is bad, how are you going to cope when it gets really tough?”(footnote pg 1312)

As America's oppression and degradation continues, it appears that the Lord is giving us the same answer he gave Jeremiah. God wanted Israel to be committed to him even when the going gets tough, even if they asked for and did not receive instant relief. This is what God wants out of his people in America! He wants commitment bound in faith, honor, and obedience rather than our pervasive desire for a “politician” Lord who plays tit for tat. Unlike Congress, God will not participate in our efforts to lobby His good will. The tomb is empty people! We have nothing to offer the Lord that is not already His! His justice is not up for appeal!

After, berating Jeremiah, God goes on to promise him “as for all my wicked neighbors who seize the inheritance I gave my people Israel, I will uproot them from their lands...I will again have compassion and will bring each of them back to his own inheritance and his own country.” (Jer. 12:14-15)

However, the Lord ends his promise with a warning. “But if any nation does not listen, I will completely uproot and destroy it.” (Jer. 12:17)

So back to one of my original questions. Is it a Godly pursuit to focus on tomorrow's anticipated future tyranny? NO, I say! God has made it clear. For those who are reading this, the most Godly pursuit for Christians in America would be that of repentance, obedience, endurance, trust, and worship of God Almighty as he dispenses much needed justice and reprimand to his wayward children!

Does this mean we should not pursue creative means to take back our souls...our government...from her current oppressors. Absolutely not. While our destiny is in God's hands, we are not to ignore sin or sit back and allow evil leaders to carry on their wickedness. The caveat remains that we are not to take actions that are against God's laws.

If we look back to 1 Sam. 26, God delivered evil King Saul into David's hands. However, David refused to kill Saul. Why? The footnotes on page 482 state

“God had placed Saul in power and had not yet removed him. David did not want to run ahead of God's timing. We are in similar situations when we have leaders in church or government who are unfaithful or incompetent. It may be easy for us to criticize or move against a leader oblivious to God's hidden purposes and timing. Determining not to do wrong, David left Saul's destiny in God's hands. While we should not ignore sin or sit back and allow evil leaders to carry on their wickedness, neither should we take actions that are against God's laws. We should work for righteousness while trusting God.”

Our suffering in America today, just like in Jeremiah's day, is not meant to punish us, but to correct us and restore us. It behooves us to learn from the example set by Israel, Jeremiah, and David rather than continue wandering off the pathway of righteousness.

We can be free of fear of tyranny. We do not have to be concerned with the timing of God's justice. We are made free by the blood of Jesus Christ whose grace and mercy endures forever. For those who follow the righteous path as given to us in scripture...we are already free. What we perceive as a battle is already over. The battle is won! God Almighty is in charge. All that is left is the taking of prisoners. God's word to our oppressors is clear,

“And if they learn well the ways of my people and swear by my name, saying, 'As surely as the LORD lives' – even as they once taught my people to swear by Baal – then they will be established among my people. But if any nation does not listen, I will completely uproot and destroy it.” (Jer. 12:16-17)

Praise be to God.

How very unique! Somebody went to a lot of trouble.. When you look at the message, it was not made by cutting down plants for the letters, it was made by cutting everything else away and leaving the letters.. That took a lot of ingenuity, time, and ability.. Look at the 2nd picture and compare the message size with the farm house and adjoining buildings etc.. The picture is actually huge!

The farmer who owns the field made the images ..... it's near the airport so all of the planes coming and going can see the message .

It would be hard to land in Lubbock , Texas and not see this..

50 Million Murdered Since 1970...Guess What Country?

Remember when Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.), the pro-life Democrat leading the group of 12 pro-life holdouts, said he would not vote to pass the Senate health care bill now and trust the Senate to “fix” it later. Remember what they did. They VOTED FOR the healthcare care bill because Ozero signed an executive order to pacify them. It stated NO Government funding of abortion. Stupak and most of his 12 holdouts fell for it. Let me reiterate...THEY fell for it...the American public did not.

Well..."fell for it" is kind of a cop out. Actually, the day after Stupak, D-Mich., and his ten other avowedly pro-life Democrats agreed to drop their objections to the Senate health care bill, they also released their earmark requests for 2011. Lo and behold, they total $4.7 billion, or about $429 million each. Were they PAID OFF by Pelosi for their yes vote? Does a one legged duck swim in a circle?

What's more, Stupak and his 10 holdouts KNEW that an executive order does not have the force of law that would be needed to stop federal abortion funding. Their holdout was a political and financial ruse.

"That is not the rule of law. That's the rule of man. One man can sign an executive order and one man can repeal that again, the president of the United States," said Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., appearing on "Fox News Sunday" before the deal was announced.

House Minority Leader John Boehner said an executive order "can direct members of the executive branch, it cannot direct the private sector."

"Because of Roe v. Wade, courts have interpreted the decision as a statutory mandate that the government must provide federal funding for elective abortion in through federal programs. In other words, no executive order or regulation can override a statutory mandate unless Congress passes a law that prohibits federal funding from being used in this manner," Boehner, R-Ohio, said in a statement.

And guess what happened yesterday. Yep. Our tax dollars will now be paying for abortions. One Executive order and 4.7 billion dollars later. ABORTIONS by GOVERNMENT. With YOUR and MY tax dollar. Obummer lied...the babies died.

An estimated 48 million babies have been aborted since 1973. Approximately 24% of all U.S. pregnancies end in abortion. With a current population in the USA of 307,006,550, this computes to the murder of 16 % of our current population.

The cost of abortion is far greater than the $495 million taxpayer dollars that will fund Planned Parenthood in 2010 and practically as much every previous year. The 50.5 million surgical abortions since 1970 have cost the U.S. an astonishing $35 trillion in lost GDP. That is almost THREE TIMES todays national debt of 13 + trillion dollars. It adds up to a 30% loss in the younger generation under age 34. Nearly 1 out of 3 of this generation has been aborted. Because all of these DEAD American babies cannot work and pay taxes, we are missing the tax dollars of 48 million + who "would have been working if they were not dead"to fund Social Security or Medicare.

"The abortion boom is also behind the coming crisis in Social Security and Medicare. We used to have as many as 16 people in the workforce for every person on Social Security. Soon, there will be only two. To save these programs from bankruptcy, the Congressional Budget Office has estimated that tax rates may have to rise to as high as 82%."

As we experience the most devastating economic depression in America's history, let us all be aware. We have done it to ourselves. We have voted murderers into public office, thrown God and Biblical principles out of the state house, the court house and the school house. It is time to Wake Up. Straighten Up. Pray UP and Repent. Then we need to Get Down with Get'n Busy...Going About the Business of our Father...starting at home with OURSELF and then our family and friends...until we get America back on the right track. The track of Obedience to God.

Intel Supercomputer Predicts Oil Coming to Atlantic Beaches

"BP may not know where oil from the Gulf gusher will go next, but Intel does. The Xeon-powered Encanto supercomputer, located at Intel's Rio Rancho campus, is one of the fastest supercomputers in the world. And all of its 3,500 quad-core processors are devoted to tracking the potential paths of the BP disaster.

Encanto started working on the oil disaster just a few days after it began, but progress has been slow-going. The first six simulations alone sucked up over 250,000 hours of computer time using the Parallel Ocean program, a 3-D ocean circulation model design at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Intel researchers plugged in the latitude and longitude of the Gulf disaster to see where an electronic 'dye tracer' dropped in the water might land. The results aren't encouraging. Once the oil moves past Florida to the Gulf Stream, it could carry oil up to 3,000 miles each month--to the East Coast and beyond."

Researchers working on the project say that the supercomputer can't provide exact calculations. The physics involved in the interaction between oil and water are impossible for the computer to calculate (researchers are working on that problem as we speak), and dispersants muddy the predictions even further. But in an interview with Wall Street Journal (PDF), one oceanographer working with Encanto stressed its reliability:

From these simulations we can say with a high degree of certainty that it is very likely sometime in the next six months that oil from this spill will get into the Atlantic," said oceanographer Synte Peacock of the NCAR, who is running the project. "We can say that when it happens, it will be fast, much faster than anything we have seen so far," she said.

Grim news, perhaps, but making some sense of the disaster's direction does offer some comfort. If only we knew how to stop the toxic undersea oil cloud from creeping toward our shores.

The Cure For America's Cancer

Many Christian Conservatives are in a state of confusion over the current state of affairs in America. How can it be in God's plan, we wonder, for our government to condone the killing of 3700 innocent babies a day in America through abortion. How did our Christian country redefine separation of church and state to mean "we must keep our Faith in God to ourselves?" How did we go to sleep as "One Nation Under God" and wake up "one of the largest Muslim countries in the World?" At what point in America's transformation did we nod our collective heads and accept that government is now our god, our protector, and our provider?

Because America no longer recognizes God as our source of inalienable rights, the masses of unsaved and uneducated raise...and worship...government as the source and benefactor of our rights. There is no question. God has been pushed out of the state house. Our government has assumed his power. In oppressive benevolence, she gives to the citizens whatever limited rights she chooses, be it "allowed" income, bureaucratically controlled health care, or the right to murder innocent children.

What in the world happened to America?

I will tell you what happened. It is called tyranny. Oppression. It is the result of SIN and lack of obedience to God.

But, you say, how can a “loving” God be so mean? Is he punishing us? Maybe. Has he abandoned us? Not necessarily. Is God in this? Of course he is! Glory Hallelujah! This is one of God's favorite teaching opportunities. And you, dear reader, are privileged to have this opportunity to learn!

An Old Testament example can be found in 1 Samuel 22. This is the story of David (slayer of Goliath) as he endeavors to escape the mentally unstable King Saul who also happens to be his father in law. David finds himself needing and seeking help from the priests in Nod. King Saul is so angered by the priest's extension of compassionate help, he has his henchman, Doeg the Edomite, murder 85 innocent priests. "He also put to the sword Nob, the town of the priests, with its men and women, its children and infants, and its cattle, donkeys, and sheep." 1 Sam. 22:19

Is this not the exact same state America finds herself in? We have a mentally unstable president. We have over 500 Congress people acting as Doeg and this does not count the thousands of henchmen on the state and local level. Considering the compassionate help needed in the Gulf Coast States or in Arizona, we have a tyrannical government intent on ignoring their innocent cries for help as she seeks to destroy the people, their land, and their economies. If left unabated, our governments actions or lack thereof could literally (and already has) cause death to the men, women, children, and animals in these regions.

Why would God allow the murder of 85 innocent priests and the entire community of Nob? Why is he allowing a similar situation to repeat in the Gulf, in Arizona, and all over America? Allow me to answer by quoting the footnote from my Bible study.

“Their deaths served to dramatize to the nation how a king could become an evil tyrant. Where were Saul's advisers? Where were the elders of Israel? Sometimes God allows evil to develop to teach us not to let evil systems flourish. Serving God is not a ticket to wealth, success, or health. God does not promise to protect good people from evil in this world, but he does promise that ultimately all evil will be abolished. Those who have remained faithful through their trials will experience great rewards in the age to come.”

So there you have. In God's eyes, America is experiencing a teachable moment. It is now our free will either to learn from this or keep our heads buried in the sand.

If God is the granter of our rights, then government must answer to God. If there is no God, then government is god, and government determines what rights we have. Who, then, keeps an eye on government? If government does not answer to God, the result will always be tyranny.

As fellow soldiers for Christ, I challenge all Christians to take an active role in personal repentance and worship. I ask for your active and constant prayer to the God of Abraham that our country and our churches be healed. Let us all work together to bring God back into our government. HE is the only known cure for this cancer that ails our country. Our tyranny can be cured, will be cured, if we seek, honor, and serve the Great Physician.

"According to historian/educator Reverend Wayne Sedlak, in his article “The Black Regiment Led the Fight in Our War for Independence”:

It was British sympathizer Peter Oliver, who actually first used the name “Black Regiment.” He complained that such clergymen were invariably at the heart of the revolutionary disturbances. He tied their influence to such colonial leaders as Samuel Adams, James Otis and others of prominence in the cause. He quotes colonial leadership in its quest to gain the voice of the clergy. In one instance, he disparagingly cites a public plea of James Otis who sought the help of the clergy in a particular manner:

“Mr. Otis, understanding the Foibles of human Nature advanced one shrewd position which seldom fails to promote popular Commotions, that ‘it was necessary to secure the black Regiment.’ These were his Words and his meaning was to engage ye dissenting Clergy on his Side.... Where better could he fly for aid than to the Horns of the Altar?... This order of Men … like their Predecessors of 1641 … have been unceasingly sounding the Yell of Rebellion in the Ears of an ignorant and deluded People.”

So influential were the patriot-pulpits of Colonial America that it was said by Prime Minister Horace Walpole in the British Parliament, “Cousin America has run off with a Presbyterian parson.” In fact, America’s War for Independence was often referenced in Parliament as “the Presbyterian Revolt.” And during the Revolutionary War, British troops often made colonial churches military targets. Churches were torched, ransacked, and pillaged."

Editorial: If You Are Afraid of the IRS: Get Out of The Pulpit!

This was an excellent article that speaks to my biggest gripe with the Church today. We have accepted the chains of slavery when we accept tax exempt status which allows the government to control us through 501c3 regulations. I am looking forward to the resurgence of the Black Regiment...courageous Pastors who brought America out of the bonds of slavery during the Revolutionary War.

WEAK PASTORS MAKE WEAK NATIONS.

I am a third generation ordained minister and I have HAD ENOUGH! Enough of pastors who are too afraid to speak out on political issues but are not afraid to insult their members in support of the government on other social issues. I guess I have just had enough of frightened pastors in the pulpits who are more afraid of the IRS than GOD. Who ordained and called you?

There are pastors speaking out about the “compassion” of amnesty but are silent on other government issues. Are pastors spokespersons for the federal government? You will not speak out on candidates, issues, or policy but will try to convince us it is godly compassion to allow illegal activities to exist within our borders. If you are afraid to speak out on ALL issues then stay silent on ALL issues. Keep with the collecting of tithes, preaching weak meaningless sermons, feeding the flock junk food, and stay on non-issues in the lives and salvation of your members. Do you serve God or yourself?

The church is the only group in America who constantly questions what they can and cannot talk about in public. Everyone else knows they have freedom of speech no matter what job they have, except pastors. I call all pastors to start telling the truth. Tell your members the real reason you do not speak out against “some” political issues. It is not because you are afraid of this fictitious, ‘separation of Church and State.’ You have become so open minded and so tolerant of every sinful, ungodly activity that your churches are full of opposing political, social, and economical points of view and you are too weak to go against the homosexual choir director, pro-abortion deacon, or the liberal donor sitting in the front pew. You do not believe God will protect you, reward you, or keep you. Where is your faith?

This is amazing - our schools are turning out unmotivated, anti-God students, vampires are being worshipped by our youth so deeply they are now biting each other rather than kissing. The government is passing out condoms to your children, teaching the sexual positions, and providing them with abortions and all pastors can do is protect their 501(c) 3 status? Who do you serve?

The only voice of truth and safety has been silenced because the leaders are afraid. If you are afraid of the IRS, losing your tax exempt status, or ANYTHING, why are you in the pulpit? You may feel respected and looked up to because you hold the title of pastor, but your people are suffering and dying. Whom do you fear?

The people perish for lack of vision; your lack of courage is destroying our nation. All scared pastors should resign from their churches and allow the courageous to stand for the people. Who has stolen your armor?

Is your vision about building a great building or a great nation? Is it about teaching compassion or teaching salvation? Is your vision one of telling people how to get along or how to get home? The Church has lost its salt and there is no light left in her. Where is your treasure?

Now we see the Bible being banished from the workplace and homes. School forbidding prayer even from students and our Christian symbols are being restricted in public. Even the churches and worship services are being attacked and all you can talk about is your tax exempt status. You cannot win by giving in. Have you had enough yet?

Romans 10:14 (New International Version)

“How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”

You calling is to preach, not to give folks a tax write-off. Your job is not motivation, but inspiration. Do you want the people to have a new building with a library and school or salvation? If you believe we are to give unto Caesar what is Caesar’s then I need to remind you that the cross is bare and the tomb is empty. HE has risen! Nothing belongs to Caesar any longer; it all belongs to HIM and as HIS heir to you also. Take a stand, pastor. They are passing out condoms to your children. They are restricting your preaching. They are teaching that the word of God is of equal measure to other teachings. Do you want to be fair or right?

And to those in the pews holding your tongue, this is not the time to be silent. If your pastor is not involved in political, social, economical, or spiritual aspects of your life, COME OUT FROM AMOUNG THEM! You are responsible for the teaching you take; find a church with a courageous pastor. If you sit under a pastor you know is not standing up for God how can you criticize Obama for staying in Rev. Wright’s church for 20 years? They may not be the largest (we are on a narrow path) but the food you get will be real SOUL FOOD. Do you want to please God or man?

REAL GODLY POWER! It cannot be, stolen, imitated, or earned, but it must be given, accepted, and protected.

Liar Liar Pants on Fire!!!

Before you watch the video, here are some tips on Non Verbal signs of a lie

The big one...Congressman Sherman says "I'm sure" while shaking his head 'NO'

• A liar might unconsciously place objects (book, coffee cup, etc.) between themselves and you. In the video he puts on a defensive posture when he moved his hand/arm to the front of podium.
• A liar is uncomfortable facing his questioner/accuser and may turn his head or body away. He kept looking away.
• Gestures/expressions don’t match the verbal statement, such as frowning when saying “I love you.” On this video, the Congressman keeps smiling the same false smile (smile does not involve his whole face) which does not match his statements or natural emotions on his content.
• Physical expression will be limited and stiff, with few arm and hand movements. Hand, arm and leg movement are toward their own body the liar takes up less space. The Congressman is very stiff in the video.
• A person who is lying to you will avoid making eye contact. Notice how this guy keeps dropping his eyes and looking away
• Hands touching their face, throat & mouth. Hands touched his face several times indicating a lie.
• A liar may leave out pronouns and speak in a monotonous tone. When a truthful statement is made the pronoun is emphasized as much or more than the rest of the words in a statement. The Congressman's statement was the definition of monotone.
Eye movements and changes in the eyes are one category of body language that tell a person is lying. If a person was previously using eye contact, and suddenly looks away, it can be a clue to prevarication.

The Congressman's eye movement to the left...Let's say your child asks you for a cookie, and you ask: "Well, what did your mother say?" As they reply "Mom said... yes.", they look to the left. This would indicate a made up answer as their eyes are showing a "constructed image or sound. Looking to the right would indicated a "remembered" voice or image, and thus would be telling the truth.

Think about these tips as you observe the body language of Congressman Sherman.

A leading Department of Justice attorney who quit his job after over the Obama administration's refusal to prosecute Black Panthers who intimidated voters outside polls during the 2008 election claims the administration has ordered the DOJ not to pursue voting-rights cases against black people.

In an interview today, J. Christian Adams, former DOJ attorney and now a contributor at Pajamas Media, told Fox News, "There is a pervasive hostility within the Civil Rights Division of the Justice Department toward these sorts of cases."

Asked whether there is a specific Justice Department policy against pursuing cases where the defendant is black and the victim is white, Adams replied, "Particularly in voting, that will be the case for the next few years. No doubt about it. If you had all the attorneys who worked on this case here, I am quite sure that they would say the exact same thing."

From The Hill comes the following breakdown of the Black Panther Voter Intimidation Case:

Earlier today I had the opportunity to attend the United States Commission on Civil Rights’ hearing on the U.S. Department of Justice and the New Black Panther Party litigation. The testimony by the hearing's lone witness, former DoJ lawyer J. Christian Adams, was nothing short of extraordinary.

During the 2008 presidential election, members of the New Black Panther Party were caught on videotape brandishing a nightstick and hurling racial taunts at white and black voters as they sought entry to a polling station in Philadelphia.

Following the irrefutable evidence caught on film of voter intimidation, the Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against three individuals and the Black Panther Party itself for violating Section 11(b) of the Voting Rights Act — which prohibits intimidation, threats and coercion. When none of the named defendants nor the New Black Panther Party showed up for trial in April 2009, a default judgment was entered in favor of the government.

Here's where things get interesting. After the government had won its case in the absence of the defense to present itself, the Department of Justice abruptly changed course and sought to voluntarily dismiss the charges against three of the defendants while giving a slap on the hand to another by telling him that he was not able to go to Philadelphia polling stations through the 2012 elections. The big question as to why the Department of Justice would drop the charges on a clear-cut case of voter intimidation startled many; in today's commission hearing, I think we found the answer that had so far been elusive.
In emotional testimony, J. Christian Adams, until last week a member of the DoJ's Voting Section — he resigned in protest over the department's handling of the case — told a stunned hearing room why he felt the case had been dropped. In no uncertain terms, Adams noted that senior officials within the Obama Justice Department had told employees that they were not to bring voting-rights cases where the alleged victim in the case was white. In other words, white transgressor and black victim, bring it on. Black transgressor and white victim? Forget about it.

I will let Adams speak for himself; his words were electric and disturbing. Long ignored by the traditional media, the Philadelphia Inquirer and other outlets have begun to question the Obama administration about its apparent inability to adjudicate justice blind of race or ideology. If Adams’s claim that the Department of Justice has instructed officials to ignore cases in which blacks victimize whites to focus on white-on-black cases, this will be the sleeper issue that could explode to toss the Democrats out of office in 2010 and 2012.

When Fox News asked Adams who has issued that mandate, he said, "There are some things I'm not going to reveal. They know who they are. They said if somebody wants to review these kinds of cases, it's not going to be done out of the Civil Rights Division. If the U.S. attorney wants to do it, that's up to them, but it's not going to happen in the Civil Rights Division. … It's a political appointee."

In 1978, 50 years after air conditioning was installed in Congress, New York Times columnist Russell Baker noted that, pre-Air Conditioned Congress was forced to adjourn to avoid Washington's torturous summers, and "the nation enjoyed a respite from the promulgation of more laws, the depredations of lobbyists, the hatching of new schemes for Federal expansion and, of course, the cost of maintaining a government running at full blast."

Sounds like a plan to me.

The Kansas City Star reports that the resolution will urge 'all people of good will to repudiate the racism of the Tea Parties, and to stand in opposition to its drive to push our country back to the pre-civil rights era.'

Other claims reportedly found in the resolution: Tea Party activists have engaged in racist behavior, for example, by waving signs that degrade African-Americans and President Obama, in particular; members of the movement have verbally and physically abused black members of Congress and other elected officials; and a number of Tea Party activists think that issues of importance to African-Americans get too much attention"

While the NAACP keeps smoking the crack pipe, below is a list of their major funding sources and other pertinent information from the same article. The reader can research these folks and possibly eliminate financial support to these supporters of NAACP racism. They are:

Not only is NAACP grounded in radical and communist associations, their focus has changed from racial equality to exactly the opposite.

Well well well. What did they expect. News has always been the big draw for television. Today the news is a liberal dribble of revisionist history intended to overthrow America as a Republic. News Media has become the elite rather than be the watchdog over the elite. Why would anyone who wants the news turn on the TV? They don't cover it and they are controlled by foreign interests.

I seldom turn on the TV. If it were not for my husband (and his sports) I would cancel my cable. Television is the main culprit in the dumbing down of America. "Keep them hypnotized and they won't think."

Fireworks...God's Way!

I am so excited this morning! After reading my Bible study, some old yet familiar words were made more clear by a new and exciting understanding. I tried to call a couple of my Christian friends to share but alas, no one answered the phone. God has clearly directed me to share my good news with YOU dear reader! It is OK to roll your eyes...Ms. Sandra is on another of her Jesus "rants!"

Seriously, when is the last time you read Exodus 5-12? This is the familiar story of Moses and Pharaoh and the 10 plagues that God brought on Egypt. Go read (it will help you understand my thoughts) and as you do, consider, if you will, that it is not Egypt about whom you read but America...extend Pharaoh into Obama (the king)...even consider the magicians as Congress.

For me, it is easier to understand the NIV version and I do so enjoy the footnotes. For my fellow Baptists, King James version is KING...the final word...and I use the NIV as a tool to better understand. So chill out King James junkies and praise the Lord for his Word!

I know, I know...you are chomping at the bit wondering what I "saw" as so exiting. In a nutshell, I saw the mighty Hand of God at work in America. Duh you say. Of course God is at work in our country. This time, what I saw...felt...discerned was the opposite of what I have been feeling lately. Have any of my fellow Christians felt that we are being punished? Judged? Have you felt an overall sense of foreboding, powerlessness, discouragement, negativity? Comparing ourselves to the story in these chapters, have we felt like the Israelites when they were forced to not only keep up their production of bricks but take on the additional task of locating their own straw? All they saw was more work, more suffering, and no change (but for the worse) to their enslavement to Pharaoh. Is that not what we Christian Conservatives feel?

Well, it is high time we had an attitude adjustment! And that is just what this study has accomplished in me! Hopefully, I can explain this well enough that you too can see the glorious Hand of our Lord setting up BIG things for His people in this land.

It was God that hardened Pharaoh's heart. (Think Obummer here)

"But I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and though I multiply my miraculous signs and wonders in Egypt, he will not listen to you..." Ex 7:3-4

Do you ever feel that nobody is listening to us?

God did not harden Pharaoh's heart to hurt or punish the Israelites. God set up what seemed to be insurmountable problems in order that He might intervene with His mighty power and perform great miracles to deliver them! As the footnotes say "Big problems put you in a perfect position to watch God give big answers!" God was creating for Himself the opportunity to exercise His great power for the benefit of His children! And guess what! God delivered His people, redeemed them, just as he delivers, accepts, and becomes our God!

Obummer doesn't have a chance! He is up against our Mighty Omnipotent God and exhibits the exact same behavior as did Pharaoh. Pharaoh lied to Moses. Pharaoh lied to the people. Pharaoh attempted to enslave the people. Pharaoh felt equal to God. Pharaoh refused to obey God. Pharaoh attempted to manipulate God. Pharaoh refused to acknowledge God's power. And Pharaoh was defeated!

Think about those "magicians" that Pharaoh called into his royal court. (Think Congress here) Pharaoh used these magicians to prove his point that he was as powerful as God. They, however, through trickery or illusion...or demonic assistance, were FAKES. These magicians only succeeded in making the plagues worse. Had they any power they would have reversed the plagues rather than intensifying the problems for Pharaoh. Did I say "Think Congress here" LOL!

Let's take a look at the "Blood" plague. Not only did the Nile waters turn to blood, every cistern and pot in the kingdom that contained water turned to blood. The fish died, the river smelled, and the people had no clean water to drink. And we thought the Gulf Oil spill was bad! Deja' Vu is an understatement!

Do you get my point here? Big bad things are happening in America today. We may not be experiencing an infestation of frogs or locusts but we are experiencing other "plagues" such as high unemployment, destruction of our economy and dollar, and moral decay. Does this mean we are sunk? Were the Israelites "sunk?" NO! God delivered them!

We need to be on God watch, friends. We need to look for the BIG miracles coming our way...because God's mighty power WILL deliver us if we turn to him and repent...He WILL heal our land. We also need to pay attention to the small miracles that happen in our lives everyday. That we have water, food, shelter, families, or our health offers proof of God's blessings in our lives. These are all gifts from God, daily miracles, that we take for granted.

The Lord is truly setting up America for BIG miracles. Even though it may get worse before it gets better, as in the case of the Israelites, it WILL get better. We are witnessing God's preparation for the ultimate fireworks show of his power that will drop us all to our knees in worship. I am getting excited! What a wonderful time to be alive and witness God's movement throughout our land!

All we have to do while waiting on the show is trust Him to do what is best for us, look for ways to honor him no matter our current circumstance, remember He will NOT abandon us...and watch as his plan unfolds before our very own eyes.

"Then I will lay my hand on Egypt and with mighty acts of judgement I will bring out my divisions, my people the Israelites. And the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I stretch out my hand against Egypt and bring the Isrealites out of it." Ex. 7:4-5

Pastor Yanked From Capitol over “Jesus” Prayer « FOX News Radio:

"A North Carolina pastor was relieved of his duties as an honorary chaplain of the state house of representatives after he closed a prayer by invoking the name of Jesus.

“I got fired,” said Ron Baity, pastor of Berean Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. He had been invited to lead prayer for an entire week but his tenure was cut short when he refused to remove the name Jesus from his invocation.

Baity’s troubles began during the week of May 31. He said a House clerk asked to see his prayer. The invocation including prayers for our military, state lawmakers and a petition to God asking him to bless North Carolina.”

“When I handed it to the lady, I watched her eyes and they immediately went right to the bottom of the page and the word Jesus,” he told FOX News Radio. “She said ‘We would prefer that you not use the name Jesus. We have some people here that can be offended.’”"

My question is basic. Who, in God's Most Holy Name, have North Carolinians elected into public office that they would be offended by the name of Jesus Christ? Our very own North Carolina Constitution has two references that apply to this unholy situation between our legislature and Pastor Baity. First is Article VI Sec. 8. on Disqualifications for public office:

The following persons shall be disqualified for office:
First, any person who shall deny the being of Almighty God.

Second is Article I Sec. 13. on Religious liberty.

All persons have a natural and inalienable right to worship Almighty God according to the dictates of their own consciences, and no human authority shall, in any case whatever, control or interfere with the rights of conscience.

I do not entertain the progressive argument that the term "Almighty God" is "open to interpretation" or "nonspecific" in definition. This is absolutely untrue of the United States of America, based on the historical facts concerning our founding fathers as well as the founding documents of this country. Neither can our North Carolina Constitution be considered pluralistic in it's intent. An early House Judiciary Committee affirmed the Founder's lack of pluralistic intent when it declared:

"Christianity ...was the religion of the founders of the republic, and they expected it to remain the religion of their descendants." (B. F. Morris. The Christian Life and Character of the Civil Institutions of the Unites States. Philadelphia: George Childs. 1864.)

I also do not subscribe to the opinion that our founding fathers were not Christian. This is a product of revisionist history created to distort the truth and to fulfill a progressive non-Christian agenda.

"We have been told over and over that the Founding Fathers were Deists and skeptics. Those who make this claim seldom produce proof for the assertion. Frequently they cite no sources at all." (Gary Amos. The Christian and American Law. p. 84)

"Of the 56 men who signed the nation's birth certificate, definitely 50, maybe 52, were Christians." (Dr. M. E. Bradford. A Worthy Company. University of Dallas.)

Fewer and fewer people remember the exhortations of those men who established this nation to follow Christ and give Christian teaching in the schools, as the backbone and main course of our schools. The facts are, 97% of the founding fathers were practicing Christians and exercised their faith in public office, at work, at home, and had it taught to their children in their schools.

A page of history is worth a volume of logic. History shows the intent and purpose of our founding fathers. Contemporary logic is wrong whenever it contradicts the clear explanations of those men who wrote the Constitution. Consider the following historical references concerning the CHRISTIAN roots of the our Nation as well as the basis for definition of the words "Almighty God" in the NC Constitution.

"At the time of the adoption of the Constitution…the general, if not the universal, sentiment in America was, that Christianity ought to receive encouragement from the State so far as such encouragement was not incompatible with the private rights of conscience and the freedom of religious worship." (Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story. 2 Commentaries on the Constitution of the United States 593.)

"The highest glory of the American Revolution was this, it connected in one indissoluble bond, principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity." (John Quincy Adams. July 4, 1821)

"Whereas we all came into these parts of America with one and the same end and aim, namely, to advance the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ." (The New England Confederation. May 19, 1643.)

187 of the first 200 colleges in America were Christian, Bible teaching institutions. Entrance to Harvard required strong knowledge of the Bible.

Noah Webster wrote the dictionary with Bible verses explained so children could understand the words of God and know the truth of Jesus Christ.
You could hardly find a school in America that wasn't Christian based with the Bible as its main text book until the 1830's. As a result of the attack upon children learning the truths of God and Salvation, the American Sunday School League was formed during that same decade so those children who were deprived could still get Bible knowledge.

How dare our NC legislature FIRE Pastor Baity. Do they not realize that WE KNOW they are participating in the destruction of Christianity as they seek Humanization and Islamitazation of America? Islam is the only radical religion intent on destroying the "infidels" and is most vocal about being "offended" unless they are referring to Athiests WHO HAVE NO LEGAL AUTHORITY TO SERVE IN PUBLIC OFFICE IN THIS STATE!

I have HAD IT with this bunch of hypocrite treasonist humanistic politicians! More than them, I have HAD IT with a citizenry who refuses to open their eyes and understand their duties as citizens of this state! What are YOUR duties as a citizen, one asks? Just in case you have heard about a VAT tax...here are a few facts. Around 150 countries currently have a VAT tax. All of the below listed countries "started" out at a mere 2% or less just as they intend to start out our country. They may even try the age old trick of calling it "temporary."

As these foreign governments "needed" more money, their tax was increased to the current levels. America needs a "money machine" to pay for the deficit. Our politicians will do just as these foreign countries have done.

The VAT tax is added at each stage of manufacture or distribution. It is actually a hidden sales tax. This means the price of our goods will rise exponentially. Republicans argue that President Obama's deficit commission is likely to consider a European-style value-added tax just got some fresh evidence.

Congressional Budget Office director Doug Elmendorf told reporters this morning that his agency is studying a VAT as part of its "strategic planning" for the future -- one in which the $1.5 trillion budget deficit and $12.5 trillion debt must be addressed by policy makers.

"I Will Give You Shepherds After My Own Heart"

Funny and awesome how God perfectly times his most intimate conversations with us. For those questioning my sanity at the choice word "conversation," be not afraid for me! Since I have no "phone number" or "family calling plan" to heaven, my mode of conversation is a rectangular object, covered in leather, commonly known as the Bible. Laugh if you will, but until you try it....

There will be a few patriotic folks reading this that will get the "hidden message" (they will know who they are) and this article is specifically for them.

Today, my prearranged study took me to Jeremiah 3:14-15 "Return , faithless people," declares the Lord, "for I am your husband. I will choose you - one from a town and two from a clan - and bring you to Zion. Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding."

To my friends...this verse fairly stunned me. After yesterday's meeting and the presentation of our new logo...just too interesting to NOT notice. Today of all days!

Allow me to quote from the NIV version a few referential facts (not Scripture) about Jeremiah that most of you should find interesting.

"Endurance is not a common quality. Many people lack the long-term commitment, caring, and willingness that are vital to sticking with a task against all odds. But Jeremiah was a prophet who endured."

"Jeremiah had to depend on God's love as he developed endurance. His audiences were usually antagonistic or apathetic to this messages."

"He was ignored; his life was often threatened."

"He saw both the excitement of a spiritual awakening and the sorrow of a national return to idolatry."

"With the exception of good King Josiah, Jeremiah watched king after king ignore his warnings and lead the people away from God."

"He was severely persecuted."

"He watched Judah's defeat at the hands of the Babylonians."

"Jeremiah responded to all this with God's message and human tears."

"He felt firsthand God's love for his people and the people's rejection of that love."

"When he was angry with God and tempted to give up, he knew he had to keep going."

"God had called him to endure."

"He expressed intense feelings, but he also saw beyond the feelings to the God who would soon execute justice, but who afterward would administer mercy."

I don't know about you guys, but I identify, in a surreal way, with Jeremiah. Our modern times are not far removed from the days of Jeremiah's ministry. In fact, with the substitution of few words i.e. the word "America" for "Judah" or the interpretation of "spiritual awakening" to include the "tea party/conservative/Christian awakening," these words transcend time and place.

It is my prayer that we are blessed with the endurance of Jeremiah as we recognize that our success is totally dependant on the will and timing of our Heavenly Father.

Galatians 4:6 "Because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir."

NOTE: The word "Abba" is an Aramaic word. "Abba" means "daddy." In other words, the Spirit in our hearts calls out Daddy Father. Another translation of Abba is da-da. Think about it, the Holy Spirit in us, intercedes on our behalf, and calls out to Daddy Father as would a little child of two or three years old. Interesting Huhhhh!

It didn’t work for John Tucker in the film “John Tucker Must Die,” and if one needs a more real-world example, it didn’t work for Tiger Woods, Eliot Spitzer, Sienna Miller or John Edwards. The art of playing is a losing game. A player will always be discovered and the truth will always surface for the liar. It is simply a matter of time.

On Monday good-government group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) asked a House committee to look into whether the Obama White House violated federal laws regarding electronic records by using private email accounts to communicate with lobbyists and meeting with lobbyists outside the White House.

CREW wrote a letter to the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform asking it to investigate and hold hearings to determine any violations of the Presidential Records Act (PRA) and Federal Records Act (FRA).

The group’s letter is in response to an article in The New York Times on June 25 that said Obama White House officials have met “hundreds of times” over the last 18 months with prominent Washington lobbyists.

“But because the discussions are not taking place at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, they are not subject to disclosure on the visitors’ log that the White House releases as part of its pledge to be the “most transparent presidential administration in history,” the New York Times reported.

The Times also reported that lobbyists said they “routinely” get emails from White House staff members’ personal accounts, not their White House emails which are subject to public records review.

The White House declined to comment on the CREW letter calling for the investigation.

As a candidate and as president, Obama has been sharply critical of lobbyists and their influence in the political process. He pledged to institute greater transparency and to close the revolving lobby door in Washington.

“It is outrageous that White House staff are deliberately using personal email accounts – in violation of the law – to hide the fact that they are in touch with lobbyists,” CREW Executive Director Melanie Sloan said in a paper statement. “This is what all the administration’s anti-lobbyist rhetoric gets you – less transparency. Rather than being open and clear about who is influencing White House policy, the White House is trying to hide who it’s really talking to. Even worse, the public is being suckered with lofty rhetoric about the evils of the same lobbyists White House officials are meeting with.”

'Godless' billboard Defaced with "God"...huhhhhh

I am just loving the concept that "under God" DEFACES the sign. With all the crime in Charlotee...murders, gangs, drugs...I hope they DROP all those investigations to find the e-v-i-l vandal of the atheist billboard. Do they investigate grafitti on bridges, buildings, and walls or IS IT JUST CHRISTIANS they investigate.

I hear we will have one of these signs here in Winston Salem. On Business 40 near Kernersville. What local sign company would dare host such a group? Does anybody know?

'Godless' billboard in Charlotte defaced with 'under God' - WIS News 10 - Columbia, South Carolina :

"CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) - A billboard that was put up by an atheist group that purposely omitted references to God has been defaced -- and had the words 'under God' added.

The billboards were put up in Charlotte and across North Carolina the week of June 21.

One of the billboards is on Billy Graham Parkway in west Charlotte -- and it was the one defaced this past weekend. It originally showed an American flag with the words 'One Nation Indivisible' superimposed, but had 'Under God' missing -- as part of the message to emphasize church and state issues.

Police were notified of the added paint on Sunday and they are reviewing security video recordings from nearby gas stations to try to find the culprits.

The original billboard campaign will appear in other locations across the state prior to the July 4th holiday.

The message on the original billboard appeared seemingly benign until one realized the words 'under God' have been purposely omitted. Those two words have been part of the Pledge of Allegiance since 1954."

My Roots and Jihad in Georgia

I am sharing this article for several reasons.

First of all, as do many Americans, I have a DNA driven love of this country rooted in the blood of my ancestors.  My ancestor, Samuel Jordan arrived in Virginia in 1610. He was granted a patent of 450 acres in Charles City County Virginia in 1620. (Nugent: Cavaliers and Pioneers) He is considered one of America's earliest pioneers and one of the exclusive group known as "Ancient Planters." His estate was known as "Jordan's Journey."  Later, in 1782, Rueben Jordan, descendant of Samuel, married Jeanette Harvie, daughter of John Harvey. It was to John Harvie that Peter Jefferson, father of Thomas Jefferson, left management of his estate and the guardianship of his 13 year old son Thomas. (Munger: Mortimor Jordan Pioneer) Yes dear reader, that would be THE Thomas Jefferson, a founding father of my beloved country.  Few can claim such an esteemed bloodline or family history as that with which God has blessed me.   I dare not take it for granted.

When I see the destruction of our freedoms and our conservative movement...whether through local strong arm tactics of self serving wanna-be politicians or the entrenched variety as found in the White House...it is as if the blood of my ancestors comes to life within me. And let me tell you, they are NOT happy. I cannot hide from my DNA nor can I escape their cries for battle. My very direct brand of righteous anger is rarely exhibited by the modern citizen nor is it appreciated by the uneducated watered down so called conservative gene pool of this century. It has occurred to me to consider the historical fact that only around 40% of "Americans" supported the Revolutionary War. While my ancestors shed their sweat and blood for freedom from within that 40%, the other 60% of those early Americans did their level best to remain neutral or remain slaves to Britain.  All I can say is "nits make lice" and that 60% is alive and well today.

Well, back to my story...my ancestors eventually migrated to Georgia.  They made their home in Jasper County.  They settled on 400 acres of land where they built and worked a farm. All was well until November 19th, 1864. Sherman's army marched into town, on his way to take Atlanta, and a foraging party descended on the farm. From the author Harvey J. Powell who wrote "The Experiences of Erasmus H. Jordan...Resisting Sherman's March to the Sea" comes the following description of this Yankee occupation: (Click on picture to blow it up)

Sherman is long gone. The old Jordan farmhouse has since fallen down.  But once again, the enemy marches on Atlanta. Unlike the last march on Atlanta, this enemy is foreign and HATES America, both her North (9/11) and her South. They are not after our livestock, our chickens, or our piano's. They want us dead.

You guessed it. Jihad is happening in Georgia. The Muslims have set up shop and are on a terror bent Jihad against Georgia citizens. It is happening right now in Gwinnett County Georgia.   That would be the county in which Atlanta sits and her suburbs and surrounding towns. It is the county of my daughter's birth.   It is the state of my birth, my parents, and their parents before them. Atlanta is a little over an hour and 1/2 from our family farm in Monticello. It is a little over 2 hours from Athens, home of the University of Georgia Bulldogs.

And the citizens can do nothing. The police cannot stop them. The politicians ignore them. Meanwhile our UNVETTED Usurper president turns a blind Muslim eye to the Islamization of America.

Lilburn’s Hood Road carries new Gwinnett into old Gwinnett. The mile of asphalt begins with a mosque at U.S. 29 and turns into a byway of houses, trees and gardens.

But now, when the sun goes down, tension grows in this tidy, middle-class neighborhood.

Some residents opposed to a mosque expansion on Hood Road say for the past seven months, they’ve been the frequent targets of harassment, mostly by those they describe as “Middle Eastern men”. But a founder of the mosque says the claims are unfounded and the city’s mayor, who lives on Hood Road, hasn’t witnessed anything unusual.

Nonetheless, residents have reported vehicles traveling the road at night with occupants yelling, making obscene gestures, snapping photos, even confronting two women in their driveway.

Since November, when city leaders ruled against a local Muslim congregation’s plans to expand, the Lilburn Police Department has received 21 calls of suspicious activity along Hood Road.

Lilburn police officials say they have investigated every claim and patrolled Hood Road around the clock for two months starting in April, when reports started to escalate.

Still, residents say, the harassment is real. Some have installed security camera systems. Others are carrying guns.

“A lot of people are locked and loaded because they don’t know what’s going to happen,” resident Angel Alonso, 46, said. “We have a feeling somebody is going to get hurt.”

Residents say the harassment started Nov. 18, the same day the Lilburn City Council rejected the congregation’s proposal for a 20,000-square-foot mosque, cemetery and gym at U.S. 29 and Hood Road. The council’s decision has since sparked a federal religious discrimination lawsuit against the city.

"n November, more than 400 residents packed the Gwinnett County courthouse to protest the rezoning. They argued it would pose traffic and parking problems and run afoul of the city’s land-use plan.
After the meeting in Lawrenceville, resident Janie Hood said she was followed and boxed in on U.S. 29 by a van and sport utility vehicle full of “Middle Eastern” males, according to a police report. The vehicles were pulled over. Hood didn’t pursue the matter further, the report said.

But Hood said she didn’t drop it. Since March, she said she has spoken three times to the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office, which is investigating.

Now the 56-year-old Hood, whose father and grandfather built Hood Road, won’t sleep at her house at night, not since an attempted break-in in late December, she said. And on April 23, Hood said five vehicles pulled in front of her property. Two to three men exited and approached, according to a police report. Hood’s daughter, Christi Nichols, who feared for her safety, grabbed a firearm and told the men to leave, the report said.

“It’s getting worse and worse,” Hood said. “All we get from the Police Department is, ‘Stay in your house.’ We will stay in our house, but we should haven’t to.”"

Atlanta was able to rebuild after Sherman burned her down. We lost material possessions. This time is different. It is spiritual. God is their enemy and America will be the casualty...especially the Christians. All I can hear are the echoes of my ancestors groaning "We did not die for YOU to give HER away..."

Today's History Lesson - The Truth About Social Security

My intent is to make your eyes bleed when you read this. Maybe a little pain in the eye will wake up the Rip Van Winkle public. This debacle has certainly been a pain in the wallet.

Social Security Cards up until the 1980s expressly stated the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes. Since nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the message was removed.

Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised:

1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary,

NO LONGER VOLUNTARY

2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the Program,

NOW 7.65% ON THE FIRST $90,000

3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year,

NO LONGER TAX DEDUCTIBLE

4.) That the money the participants put into the independent 'Trust Fund' rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program,

UNDER JOHNSON THE MONEY WAS MOVED TO THE GENERAL FUND AND SPENT

5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income.

The Obama administration is reportedly signaling another major shift in policy towards one of its staunchest allies, Israel, and this shift could change the way it votes at the Security Council. The change would mean an end to the US’ use of its veto power in the United Nations Security Council when certain anti-Israel resolutions are introduced for a vote.*

Reports surfaced a couple of weeks ago, that a senior US diplomat met with Qatar’s foreign minister in Paris. They discussed the possibility that the US was giving serious consideration to not using its veto if a vote on Israeli settlements was to come up. Clerk of Court Candidate Promises Efficient Use of Tax Payer Services

From the July 2010 Issue of Forsyth Precinct comes the following article. Taxpayers take note that the focus of this candidate is SAVING MONEY for the tax payer. It is an honorable and necessary platform.

Jeffrey L. Polston, a candidate for Clerk of Superior Court, has announced that a priority of his is to provide accurate, timely records to the citizens of Forsyth County, including information to the general public, courts, media, the legal community and law enforcement.

According to Polston, the first step has been to engage an independent forensic, criminal and account auditing team. “Sampling ten criminal cases, my investigative team uncovered over $103,000 in lost revenue,” Polston said. “By failing to properly file, collect and expedite the return of taxpayer money, gross negligence has occurred for too many years.

Polston said the Clerk’s office is the “epicenter to the civil/criminal justice system, handling 131,000 cases and $24 million in 2008-09. “That’s a 500 cases/work day.”

Concerned about the case load, Polston said he consulted courtroom experts and determined a two-clerk sytem to be appropriate. He said other counties using the two-clerk system assures that defendants are processed timely and transferrred from the jail to the North Carolina Department of Corrections.

“The two-clerk system gives rise to a paper flow process that provides an accurate check and balance, assuring all monies due the county are properly docketed and collected.”

According to Polston, taxpayerse shoulder the costs of the jail and that by reducing the time inmates wait on paperwork transfers, housing costs are reduced as much as $1,000 a day. “Unnecessary costs are thereby reduced from the county budget,” he said.

Polston consulted with Dr. Gary Greene, president of Forsyth Technical Community College, and other lreaders to implement a certification program similar to a paralegal’s course of study and continuing education.

“The program allows the clerk’s office to run more efficiently, with each clerk receiving in-depth crosstraining and certification by outside sources,” he said.

In a 5-4 ruling in Christian Legal Society v. Martinez, the high court upheld a California law school's denial of official recognition of a Christian student group - a group that refused, and rightly so, to allow non-Christians to become voting members or leaders.

The ACLJ filed an amicus brief with the Court in this case, representing numerous Christian campus organizations.

This is an extremely disappointing decision significantly damaging the constitutional rights of religious organizations. By permitting a discriminatory decision by the federal appeals court to stand, the Supreme Court decision represents, as Justice Alito correctly concluded in the dissent, ''a serious setback for freedom of expression in this country.'' And, we, like Justice Alito, hope this decision will be an aberration and not a shift in First Amendment jurisprudence."

Christian Conservatives Take Heart!

True Christian Conservatives in America are fighting a battle that is not unique to the 21st Ccentury, even though it often feels we are the first EVER to face such trials. Like David in the Old Testament, we seek to shepherd a society that has lost it's way. In the process we seek to kill modern giants...giants like socialism, slavery to government, corruption, and evil in our country and world. On the other hand, just like David, we succumb to our sinful nature at times. Though we share more in David's failures, it is comforting to know that God refered to David as "a man after my own heart." (Acts 13:22) More than anything else, David had an unchangeable belief in the faithful and forgiving nature of God.

When David was fleeing from Saul, he called upon God to deal with his enemies. As Christian Conservatives, we too need God's help in dealing with enemies. Our enemies today number from self -serving politicians and cronyism in local, state, and federal government, to an apathetic citizenry, unfair taxation, runaway spending, and a Federal government gone mad. David called on God in Psalms 35 to rescue him. Even though David had angered Saul and rightly deserved Saul's deadly pursuit (from an earthly standpoint), Bible commentary states..."David's call for justice was sincere. It was not a cover for his own personal vengeance. He truly wanted to seek God's perfect ideal for his nation. David did not say that he would rake revenge, but he gave the matter to God...[David's] psalms use hyperbole. (or overstatement) They were meant to motivate others to take a strong stand against sin and evil." (NIV Psalm 35:1ff)

As true repentant Christian Conservatives, like David, we are truly seeking God's perfect ideal for this nation. This makes us "men and women after God's own heart." To all of my brothers and sisters in Christ who are up against these giants, take comfort. God promises to help the persecuted and to bring judgement on the unrepentant.

Next time you pray, pray as David did. Pray for justice to be done. The wicked will be punished...Christ's return may be sooner than we expect. The birthing pains have begun.

Mexican Violence: It is Worse Than You Think

It is worse in Mexico than we are allowed to know in America. This video gives an idea of the cartel wars going on and the nature of our Arizona invasion. These cartels have declared war on us and until we realize it, they will continue to make advances on our country.

Below are pictures I received through an email contact that illustrates the type of weapons we have threatening our borders. This was supposedly a raid that occurred a week ago on the border. I have searched high and low for news/corroboration of this and I can't find a thing. It certainly appears to be Mexico, captions are written in Spanish, and from the above video, corroborates the background noise of weapon fire. My source is trust worthy. Anyway, it is what it is. "The US Coast Guard is reporting that two of the workers involved in cleaning up the Gulf oil spill have died.

As of June 11th, 71 oil spill clean up workers have been hospitalized in Louisiana, due to exposure to vapors from the toxic disbursants.

Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told the Daily Beast, “'We're very concerned about the impact of the disaster on the public health of people in the gulf region.'

CBS News reports, “Seven weeks into the oil spill crisis, there is still confusion and uncertainty about how to protect the people cleaning up the mess. Commercial fisherman George Jackson was overcome by fumes while inspecting boom; BP gave him no protective gear.

Earlier in the crisis, BP CEO Tony Hayward attributed the sickness of clean up workers to
“food poisoning,” despite suggestions by medical experts that the symptoms of food poisoning are very different from findings from exposure to toxic chemicals.

No details have been released about the deaths of the two clean up workers."

"There is an increasingly real possibility that we may never be able to stop the gushing hole left in the Gulf sea floor unleashed by the Deepwater Horizon.

Former president of Shell oil and founder of Citizens for Affordable Energy, John Hofmeister, told Hardball’s Chris Matthews that the casing that leads to the oil reservoir may be so badly damaged from wear under the extreme pressure, the relief wells will not be able to stop the flow.

Hofmeister said that once the relief wells reach the casing, they will inject cement that should solidify and permanently stop the leak. But if there is not enough casing intact to hold the cement and allow it to set, the last hope in stopping the gusher ends.

Oil industry expert Bob Cavnar agrees. In an interview with Keith Olbermann, Cavnar said ‘there is real damage to the BOP.’ His advice to BP is to “Keep the well flowing as much as they can,” in order to keep the pressure off the ‘down hole.’

Cavnar also said he would not be surprised if the BOP fell over, unless BP installs supports to keep it upright, adding that it needs to be done right now.

Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen confirmed evidence that Cavnar may be right. Allen said, “The riser package is now tilting 10 to12 degrees.”"
